Crafting visually pleasing websites is what we do. If your business needs a webpage to show who you are, what you do, or you just need to start an online presence to tell the world about your company, you've come to the right place.
Based in Portage la Prairie, MB, we try to bring high quality websites and services to local companies and businesses also based in the Central Plains area.
Offered services
Here are a few of the services that we offer, individually or as part of packages.
Custom sites
Making a website from scratch includes a lot of steps, from planning and designing it to actually coding the page and putting it out for people to see it. When we build a custom site, it's purpose-built for you business.
Site maintenance
Maintaining a website includes a lot of technical work - providing updates for content, keeping the domain up, and making sure nothing crashes - and more. We do it all for a constant monthly fee, so you won't worry.
Landing sites
Landing sites are small, focused web pages that need much less work, time and money to build. They're optimal for businesses that don't need to advertise lots of products or services, like gyms or small restaurants.

Planning
Before anything begins, we decide on a few things: why you need the website, what its function will be, and what info you need to give us.
-
Design
We decide on what the site's style will be, then we build a mock-up to show what it will look like. The designs will be made to scale for desktop computers, phones and tablets.
-
Production
Our next step is to build the website. We handle the coding and everything else that needs to happen in order for the site to be up and running for everyone to see.
About
Hi, I'm Ben.
I've been coding for a long time, but I've been getting much more serious about it the last few years. I'm familiar with the entire process of bringing a website to life - building the structure of a site, making it look as good as it can, and then putting it out onto the internet.
I specialize in smaller sites for smaller businesses. I've got much more experience creating web pages that show information than have important functions - sites to show who your business is are my strength.
Why choose us?
- We build sites for your business's price range
- We are based locally in Manitoba
- We perform all difficult maintenance ourselves
- We handle everything, from building to publishing
Frequently asked questions
How long will a website take to build?
A website's development time depends on how big it is and how many features are included. A landing page could take a week or two, while larger sites can take closer to three or four weeks.
What fees will I need to pay?
Your site is going to have a smaller upfront cost (deposit), and a larger payment for after the site is launched. After the site is up, maintenance and updates are going to be covered by a monthly plan, where everything is handled to keep your site running smoothly.
What's included in the price?
The main, upfront price includes everything that your site needs to get up and out onto the internet. We handle the website itself, whatever setup is needed, and also renting the domain out for the first few months or years.
What does maintenance include?
Website maintenance is paid on a monthly basis, including paying for the domain name, keeping the page responsive and updating content. Updates are typically small, like changing wording or images. The frequency and size of updates depends on your chosen maintenace plan.
What do I need to do or give a developer for a site?
A developer will usually need these things, but they might also ask for more:
- Your business's logo and name
- Pictures that you want used in the site
- Text (paragraphs, headings, etc) to be used in the website
Some developers will write text and provide pictures for your site, but they will often charge extra for it.
Do I need to sign a contract? Will I need a deposit?
Yes, to buy a website from Kreklewich Creative, you will need to sign a contract. It will typically be a short document to clarify the scope, timeline and terms of service of the website. A deposit will be required, probably around 25% of the site's cost upfront. The rest will be paid after launch.
Who owns the website, and what exactly do I own?
You will legally own the website's files yourself, but they will stay on the developer's computer in order for us to update them. The custom domain will be owned by you, and hosting will be done by us with a third party.
If you choose to not use one of our maintenance plans, files will be sent to you and hosting will be your responsibility.
